Therefore, leadership has continued to be a topic of interest, as well as a subject of contention among many leadership theorists. However, this paper intends to identify the leadership styles and practices in corporate sector of Bangladesh. Using a disproportionate stratified random sampling method, total 50 corporate leaders including male and female from different corporations were selected. A quantitative research approach was adopted requiring the development and dissemination of a questionnaire survey. The results revealed that corporate leaders of Bangladesh are tending to be more transformational than autocratic. Moreover, autocratic leadership style was found to be the most frequently used leadership style by the females than male.
